Islamabad, August 24 (KMS): A condolence session was held in Islamabad, today, in connection with the death anniversary of noted Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Mushtaq Ahmed Wani.
The speakers, while paying glowing tributes Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, said that Wani contributed a lot for projecting the Kashmir dispute at the international level.
The participants of the condolence session reiterated the pledge to continue the ongoing liberation struggle till it reached its logical conclusion. The speakers called upon the international community to stop India from detaining Hurriyat leaders and other human rights violations in the occupied territory.
Those who attended the session included former president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Director of Kashmir Media Service, Sheikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, Hurriyat leaders, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Manzoorul Haq Butt, Mir Tahir Masood, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Shamim Shawl, Ishtiyaq Hameed, Abdul Majeed Mir, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Aijaz Rehmani, Mohammad Hussain Khateeb, Nisar Mirza, Abdul Majeed Malik, Syed Abdullah Gilani, Mohammad Sultan Butt, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah, Javed Jehangir, Imtiaz Iqbal Wani, Engineer Mehmood, Saleem Haroon, Syed Tahir Kazmi, Mian Muzaffar and senior journalist Bashir Usmani.
