JKPL denounces Waza’s illegal detention

Srinagar, September 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has condemned the continued illegal detention of party Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, at Kukernag police station.

A JKPL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mukhtar Waza’s detention reflected the level of frustration of the occupation authorities. By curbing the movement of Waza, the spokesman said, Indian authorities are following their plan to keep him away from the people of Kashmir as much as they can.
